INDUCTION LOOP SYSTEMS
All Church Sound Ireland church PA systems are fitted with the induction loop systems to enhance the listening experience for hearing aid users.
No church today can be without induction loop systems for the hard of hearing. When a loop is connected to a sound system it allows the hearing aid user to pick up clear speech directly into their hearing aid without distracting background noise.
A hearing loop helps persons who use hearing aids that are equipped with T-coils hear sounds from a PA system directly and clearly in the hearing aids because it reduces or cuts out background noise.
How the Induction Loop System Works
A hearing loop is a magnetic signal that hearing aids pick up when the hearing aid is set to the T setting.
The church sound system is fitted with a microphone which picks up the spoken word. This audio is then processed through an amplifier before being broadcast.
A loop cable and a wire that acts as an antenna are placed around the interior space and this antenna generates the audio signal to hearing aids.
